At Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association we protect, promote, and sustain Arizona cattle ranching for present and future generations through grassroots advocacy, policy formation, and education.

MESA, ARIZONA, June 24, 2020 – The Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association (ACGA) has hired Jerome Rosa as Executive Director. “I am thrilled that someone with as much experience and knowledge as Jerome Rosa will serve as the new Executive Director of the Arizona Cattle Growers’. Jerome is well known well respected, and has extensive knowledge in ranching, protecting and promoting our ranching interests, representing us in regards to government relations and affairs, fundraising, grant writing, directing a membership-driven organization, and collaborating with common interest groups,” said Billy Elkins, President of the Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association.

The Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association has drastically decreased annual expenditures, is having fundraising success, is seeing unity and strength continue to grow amongst our members, elected officials, partners, and friends, and has reached over 1,351,914 consumers through social media this year as we share the story of ranching. “Now our focus is on grant writing, and strengthening our government relation’s strategic plan. Jerome’s experience in the political arena, as former Oregon Cattlemen’s Executive Director, and as a rancher himself will be pivotal in our success strategy. Because of Jerome’s unique experience, he knows the legislative process inside and out, and this knowledge will be instrumental in accomplishing the directives and priorities set by the members of the Cattle Growers’,” said Elkins.

The Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association is committed to building a strong organization that supports our members, strengthens and protects the ranching industry, and shares the ranching story with the public. It is also committed to enhancing ACGA’s litigation efforts, regulatory affairs, lobbying efforts, events, financing, grant writing, collaborating with like-minded groups, and fundraising efforts. President Elkins said, “Jerome will play a key role in helping the association achieve those goals, and we are excited to have him as a member of the team.”

Jerome will transition into the Executive Director position towards the end of July 2020.
